Milani Coming Up Roses Collection Powder Blush (L-R)
01 Romantic Rose, 02 Flora Passion

Hi everyone!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you know I have been cooing at these babies when I finally found them at my local Walgreens.

Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blush in 01 Romantic Rose and 02 Flora Passion ($6.49 USD each / 0.60 oz / 19 g) are limited edition products. They are supposed to be "ultra silky-soft powder blush that delivers the perfect amount of color and easily blends onto the cheeks."
  • Romantic Rose is a dusty mauve.
  • Flora Passion is a pinky coral.
  • Both have a satin matte finish.

Packaging: [3.8/4.0]

The beautiful 3-D rose petals are encased in hard plastic packaging. It has a clear flip top that clicks close pretty firmly. (I still can not get over how gorgeous these blushes are!)

Pigmentation: [3.9/4.0]

Fantastic pigmentation! You can have a sheer wash of color or build it up for more pop depending on how you apply.

Texture and Formulation: [3.8/4.0]

Soft, smooth, and silky! Neither are chalky. Just be careful not to swirl your brush too hard, powder can fly out because the product is so finely milled.

Application: [3.8/4.0]

Very easy to apply (once you finally get past touching the pretty petals)! Blends so easily. With a light hand, you can get a sheer glow. But the color can definitely be built up to a higher intensity. I like to use a synthetic bristle stippling brush for these blushes to get that air brushed effect.

Longevity: [4.0/4.0]

Both these blushes lasted 10+ hour days (with humidity too) with no fading or blotchy-ness. Typical drugstore blushes last about 6 maximum on me.
