2013 New Years Resolutions: Health and Fitness Edition!

New Years is always a reminder day for me. A new year is like a tabula rasa; a clean slate.

This year, I've already made some Beauty resolutions!

Now, it's time to talk Health and Fitness!

1. Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred 
(starting Jan 2)

My first goal is to do this program with fellow friend and blogger Jessica from Beautezine. She is amazing and I have always looked up to her. So starting tomorrow, we will be starting this program and be motivational buddies! Who else is with us??

After this, I am going to be starting her Yoga program! :)

Here's to staying fit and toned!




2. Stop (unhealthy) Late Night (or anytime) Snacking 

I'm up early in the morning, and go to bed late at night. Sometimes if I don't eat enough during a day, I end up snacking ~8pm. Or 9. Normally, I will eat a fruit or a yogurt. But sometimes...that craving just hits! Chips, ice cream, donuts....

I know it's not good for me. SO...here's to stopping unhealthy late night snacking!



3. Remember to Stop and Smell the Roses, 
to Look at the Pretty Makeup...
and DO IT!

I live a pretty stressful life. So to cut down on the stress, I need to stop and smell the roses! Or...stop and look at the pretty makeup. Remember to take some time off for myself. And actually do it, instead of just thinking about it the last year. I know that keeping up with this blog will definitely help me with this challenge!

  1. I just read on Jessica's where she was going to do the 30 Day Shred! That's so fun that you're motivating each other! I would love to try it! I've heard great things about it! Maybe I'll pick up the dvd soon! :)

    1. Motivational buddies are going to be helpful for long program work outs! :D Try it! Don't buy it on dvd, it's on youtube. Try it out first :)

  2. Hi! Thanks for your comment on my Dec favorites! I see we have the same resolutions .. I have Jillian's Shred DVD (and it's a bit dusty) .. it's a good, quick workout. You'll be breathing hard :-)

    My other resolution is to stop consuming so much sugar .. I've been on a candy high since October and really .. it's time to reach for something much better like fruit :-)

    1. Good! I wanted to do the 30 Day Shred because I'm short on time. As much as I'd love to do longer work out sessions...I just don't have that luxury yet!

      Yes! Natural sugar is much better! :) I love my fruits :D
